I was born and raised right here in Bergen County, NJ. I am the youngest of FOUR. I have an older sister and two older brothers. I also have 3 nieces and 3 nephews! I have a dog, Brodie and some pretty great parents too.
I attended Ramapo College of New Jersey and graduated with a major in Psychology and was certified in Elementary Education. Right before graduation, I was very lucky to do my student teaching right here at Roosevelt School in a first grade classroom. I was then a long-term substitute in a sixth grade classroom for the end of the year in 2006. After graduating I was hired by Mr. V to teach fourth grade, which I taught for two years. In 2008, I made the move to the lower hallway to teach second grade which I taught for 7 years! While teaching, I attended night classes for two years in order to earn my Masters degree. I graduated from Ramapo College with a Masters Degree in Educational Technology in May 2013. Although I loved 2nd grade, I am thrilled to be back upstairs! This will be my 4th year teaching third grade and I am looking forward to all the fun and exciting activities we will be taking part in while learning.
